Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground clove
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground allspice
  • cups whole milk
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, melted butter, eggs and milk.
    ½ tsp ground nutmeg, 1¾ cups whole milk, 3 eggs, ½ cup pumpkin puree, ½ cup unsalted butter
  • Add in the flour, spices, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix until just combined and most of the lumps are gone.

  • Grease the waffle iron with butter. Once the iron is hot, add about 1 cup of batter to the iron at a time, spreading it out evenly before closing the lid.
  • Cook the waffles until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Then remove the waffle and repeat with the remaining batter. Serve with butter and syrup!
