In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, melted butter, eggs and milk.
½ tsp ground nutmeg, 1¾ cups whole milk, 3 eggs, ½ cup pumpkin puree, ½ cup unsalted butter
Add in the flour, spices, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix until just combined and most of the lumps are gone.
1 tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp ground clove, ½ tsp ground nutmeg, ¼ tsp ground allspice, 2 cups all purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, ¼ cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp salt
Grease the waffle iron with butter. Once the iron is hot, add about 1 cup of batter to the iron at a time, spreading it out evenly before closing the lid.
Cook the waffles until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Then remove the waffle and repeat with the remaining batter. Serve with butter and syrup!
